About Us
At the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry, our mission is to serve those facing food insecurity, and we are honored to support local families living in the Reedsburg and Weston School Districts. Reedsburg Area Food Pantry is proudly independent and funded entirely by the kindness of local volunteers, our Board of Directors, donors, and community partners. We exist to make sure no neighbor faces hunger alone.
Community donations are an important part of our work, but they provide less than 10% of the food we distribute. To ensure families always have access to fresh, healthy choices, we purchase most of our food directly from local retailers, including Kwik Trip, Jams 2, and Viking Village.
In 2025, these purchases averaged $10,800 per month. Your donations help us bridge this gap and care for our neighbors with consistency and dignity.
Together, we can lighten the burden for our neighbors, strengthen our community, and ensure that every family has access to the nourishment and compassion they deserve.
How You Can Help
Make a Monetary Donation:
Whether one-time or recurring, help us serve families with reliability and dignity. You may give online or by mail, and we will send a heartfelt thank-you note and receipt for your records.
Volunteer Your Time:
Your time helps us unload pallets, stock shelves, and greet families with warmth every Wednesday.
Host a Food Drive:
Hosting a food drive in your workplace, neighborhood, or school is an excellent way to bring people together in support of local families.
Donate Food Items:
Individuals and organizations continue to be a meaningful part of our mission by donating food items.
Who We Serve
We proudly serve individuals and families in the Reedsburg and Weston school districts experiencing food insecurity who meet income guidelines. We do this by providing basic foods like milk, eggs, bread, cereal, soups, canned fruit and vegetables, pasta, sauces, peanut butter, tuna, meat, and fresh fruit and vegetables, up to twice a month for households in need.
Together, we’re feeding hope and building a stronger, more caring community. Learn more about who is eligible and how our food pantry services work.
